- Produce Bag January 10th
Winter looks to have set in. Due to the cold weather, we decided to turn the temperature down in the tomato greenhouse, and we will be cleaning up the cherry tomatoes and getting ready to transition that greenhouse and plant Spinach, Lettuce, Radish, Cilantro, Pak Choy, beets, fennel, and a few other cool weather crops for an early Spring harvest.
We ordered our seeds for 2025, and are getting excited to start planting! This year we will be using our greenhouses for our seedlings and we hope to have earlier produce as we will have a lot more room! So we hope to have stronger, healthier transplants as we have a lot more space. We will no longer plant onion hairs, and will be planting Onion pencils and maybe have earlier Peppers, Eggplants, Broccoli, Cauliflower and a little more of everything we grow.
This week we plan to pick Lettuce Mix and some Spinach, and may also have some Cherry Tomatoes as we clean up the greenhouse this week.- Produce Bag $40

- First Produce Bag of 2025
2025 is not yet arrived, but this produce bag is in 2025 already. So Happy New Year! With the Winter Solstice behind us we hope to see a little more of the Sun. Growing in the winter with limited sun and cloudy days is a challenge even with some heat added. We hope to get through January and are excited for those sunny yet cold February days.
This will be the last, last, last week of Cherry Tomatoes, we had planned to go until Christmas, but the warm weather and the rather large amount we picked the last two weeks, we decided to go one more week before we transition the greenhouse for the Spring crops.
We already have Garlic, Spring Onions, Beets, Fennel, Napa Cabbage, Caraflex Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower, many Radish, Turnips, Lettuce, and Spinach all planted in the new large greenhouse, and we hope with a little more sun we may even be able to have a large selection of produce in late February or March.

- Produce Bag November 15th
Every week we expect a smaller produce bag, but we still have a lot in the Field, and even more that will be ready for the final field picking in a few weeks. We planted another round of Beets, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli, in the field which has been under frost cover, and we expect to have Broccoli in the next week or so, depending on the weather we will see how large we can manage to grow it before the snow starts to fly and the daytime temperatures remain below zero.
The greenhouse is growing, the Lettuce Mix and Radish will be ready to pick in the next few weeks, and Turnips and Spinach are not far behind. The Kale is the most impressive to us as we didn’t expect to be able to pick before January, but we already have great sized leaves, and our goal of Kale throughout the year will likely be possible!
November 29th will be another round of fresh Chicken, if you would like to order and stock up for winter, we have a lot available. These will be smaller and in the 4-6lb range. Any remaining we will freeze for pickup throughout the winter as we wait for Spring to return. For those wondering, on December 5th the last 5 pigs goto Ken R. Mogk butcher shop, and we will once again have Onion Sage Sausage, Peameal Bacon, Back Bacon, and the Thick Cut Bacon.- Produce Bag $65

- Year round produce
Many of you have seen, some of you have heard. We have had a rather busy year, building; farming got in the way. But we made it, we have a new large greenhouse and we have some heat to keep it from freezing. We can produce food year round! Our goal is to provide cool weather crops in January and February like Kale, Swiss Card, Spinach, Kale, Beets, Fennel, Cabbage, Lettuce Mix, Arugula, and some other surprises. Come the end of February we will transplant tomatoes enabling us to deliver you the most delicious tomatoes from early June right to the end of December.
The larger greenhouse will also make transition between crops easier as we have more greenhouse space, so we will always be able to produce a consistent amount of produce every month of the year… eventually…
For those who have not seen and been to the farm, this is the mess you you missed.

- Produce Bag Sept 13th
For most farms September is the busy month as we start to harvest almost all crops planted, from Leeks, Squash, Brussel Sprouts, to almost everything seems to be ripe and ready to be picked. The produce bag is rather large this week, and yet we have a lot more out there, so if you want something you do not see just ask we may have it, but not in large quantities.
It is time to order your Thanksgiving Turkey! This year most Turkeys are in the 10-20lb range, we got them 2 weeks later than normal as the last few years the Turkeys were a little too large. So this year they are about 6-10lb now, and we hope to have them in the 10-22lb range with at most 16+lbs. We raised 3 different varieties, so we should have a nice range of weights and sizes.
We also have a few frozen Whole Chickens around the 5-7lb range, and some Chicken Drums, Thighs, Breasts, and Wings for sale. Although the pork supply is slowly dwindling, we have 5 pigs going on September 16th so we will have a full freezer again with Bacon, Hams, Roasts, and more delicious sausage! We also have a half cow being made into more Summer Sausage, this went to the butcher in August, but the smoking and curing process takes a few weeks and we hope to have the summer sausage back for Thanksgiving.- Produce Bag $75
