Produce Bag March 28th

Spring is here, although it may not look like it this morning. This weekend we had another baby goat, we now have 3 healthy baby goats and one calf with more to come. Our first batch of chickens are in the barn, under a heat lamp chirping away splashing in the water then piling up on each other under the heat lamp.
We have been trying to pick and clean out the large greenhouse to make room for our tomato Transplants. When we built the new greenhouse we thought we would not have crop rotation issues, but since we plant every inch, rotation from one crop to the next is always a challenge. We also planted some early Peppers and Eggplant we will also try to find room to plant in the greenhouse as we transition to the cold frames and field.  Hopefully these will produce earlier and also extend the season longer.  Our goal of transplanting our tomatoes on April 15th has come and gone, but we are making progress and likely will get a few rows transplanted this week.
