Winter is so much nicer with some sun shining, or maybe it is the fact this morning is not -20 and rather enjoyable. Our first cold cold cold weather snap let us see how the Greenhouses managed, and we made it. We did get a little frost happening and had to finish installing and turn on the circulation fans as the temperature gradient dropped about 1c/ft leaving the ground around -1 and the thermostat at 5.  The fans are doing a great job, and we expect things to be a little warmer at ground level. But with the return of the Sun, the greenhouse get up to 13-18 and we expect everything to once again start to grow a little quicker.
This week  we will be picking more Lettuce, and it looks like the first week of February we will have Spinach and Lettuce Mix again. We have realized we need to plant a lot more Lettuce Mix and Spinach next fall!
