June has come! Thanks to everyone who ordered Chickens last week. Looks like the Chicken weights for round one came in at 6-8lb, a little heavier than last year. We expect the next round to be a little smaller as the temperatures warm up. The next batch will be ready for pickup on June 28th, and we still have some available for order. They will very likely come in around the 5-7lb range.
Everything is growing in the field, we hope to have Peas available this week, we managed to get them trellised and ready, for picking! If you want a quart of peas, feel free to order.  As supply will be limited, we didn’t add them to the produce bags. We will also be clearing out the last of the Spring crops from the greenhouse and finish planting the tomatoes and cucumbers and hope to have a bounty of delicious fruits in July!
Next week, June 12th will be the first week of the Rockwood Farmers Market.  We are excited for the first week of the Rockwood Market and hope to see a great crowd there next week.  This week you can come to the Farm Friday evening 4pm to 6pm or to the Guelph Farmers Market on Saturday morning 8am to 1pm.
