The cold has come, tomatoes are done, we are sad to see them go.  Looks like the cold weather has finally arrived with a few evenings this week down to -10c and -8c. The produce bag this week is our last large bag as we are pulling all our beets, kohlrabi, and likely will be done with the Cilantro and Lettuce Mix as well. We did manage to transplant a lot of head lettuce into the greenhouses, so we have a great selection of lettuce coming!  We will have Carrots, and Turnips for a few more weeks and hope to have Kale and Brussel Sprouts right up to Christmas as well.
We are now sold out of most of the Mogk Sausage, but have no fear!  December 11th we have the last 5 Berkshire hogs going to Mogk for another wonderful selection of sausage, peameal, back bacon, shoulder roasts, and some larger Christmas Hams!  If you want a customer order, specific size of Ham or Roast, let us know and we can make sure we have your order back just before Christmas! also have a few Christmas Turkeys available if you are already thinking about a winter wonderland!
